This is India's flag. The different colors and the wheel represent courage,sacrifice,truth, & peace.

       INDIAN FLAG
       The Indian flag is known as the Tiranga symbolizes freedom.  The flag was adopted by India's constituent assembly on July 22, 1947.  The flag's three colors saffron, white and green all symbolize different things.  Saffron stands for courage and sacrifice.  White stands for truth and peace.  Green is for faith, fertility, and chivalry.  The wheel on the flag represents the wheel of life.
       India's flag is very unique and represents all that India stands for.  The flag represents the fact that even though India is so diverse, it does in fact stand as one united, proud country.

NATIONAL ANTHEM
       The lyrics and music of India's National Anthem were first devised by Rabindranath Tagore.  The song itself was first sung on December 17, 1911.  The actual anthem was adopted in the year 1950. India itself is so diverse, but the anthem was adopted by people of all races that lived in India.  In this sense it is an example of the integrity in India.

These are the lyrics to the National Anthem of India translated into English:
Thou art the rulers of the minds of all people,
Dispenser of India's destiny.
Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sind, Gujarat and Maratha,
Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bengal;
It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas, Mingles in the music of Yamuna and Ganga and is chanted by,
The waves of the Indian Sea.
They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise.
The saving of all people waits in thy hand,
thou dispenser of India's destiny,
Victory, victory, victory to thee.
